The guy who failed to yeild to him changed his story a couple days after the accident and decided to say he had a green arrow which would mean Mike ran a red light. SO, the other driver (we'll call him Mr. Liar) was lying and his insurance company wouldn't pay for our car until the judge found him "guilty as charged" in court.
It took Mike going to traffic court three times before we FINALLY heard the verdict we needed to hear: guilty as charged.
For the record the Mr. Liar's insurance company is Nationwide and they have been FANTASTIC to work with.
NONE of our cars will ever go without collision coverage ever again: what a pain!
For four long months we've had a wrecked car sitting in our driveway looking like the eye sore of the neighborhood.
Finally, Monday night they came to pick the wreck up.
I was actually a little sad to see it go. It was the first car we bought together and the car we brought our first two kids home from the hospital in. We moved twice in the car, went on loads of trips in it and shared many many hours as a family.
Bye Bye car, you were good to us.

Bye, Gracie! so sad! But you'll have so many new memories in your van together as a family!
Were there other witnesses?
What a long drawn out process. I'm so glad Mr. Liar got caught in his lie & the judge ruled in your favor.
