OCNJ Part 1

We've just returned from one of our favorite weeks of the year in Ocean City, New Jersey. I've said it before and I'll say it again- it's the best family vacation spot. Better than Disneyworld. Our kids had a fabulous time and we spent some time with our dear friends.

Monday (August 2)

We were rolling along in the car by 6:15 and the kids were ready to get to one place: the Boardwalk. Andrew asked about 400 times on the way to OC IF we were at the boardwalk yet. The drive went as well as it possibly could have. We arrived in Lewes, DE to catch the ferry across the mouth of the Delaware River in plenty of time to play on the playground and stretch our legs for a bit. I'm not a fan of the 85 minute rocking boat ride, but the kids love it and it saves us about 4 hours of driving....so I guess it's worth it. We were in Ocean City by lunch time and we were so excited! After some lunch we suited up and headed for the beach!

Sliding down the sides of the big hole Daddy and Jordan dug for them. It was quite a hole!

One of these boys goes to work every day with clothes on and the other one spends mucho timo in the sun. Can you guess which is which?

Emma was a wave jumpin' queen!
